Tradition
A privately owned NANA Development Corporation subsidiary, TKC Communications’ profits are returned to our 11,000 Inupiaq shareholders of the NANA region in Northwest Alaska. These profits support a variety of programs that benefit all NANA shareholders. Examples of such programs include social and cultural programs, scholarships, language preservation, professional development and career opportunities, village partnerships and dividend returns to help allay the tremendous cost of living in the Northwest Region of Alaska.

Although we are committed to technological advancement and quick response, we are grounded in the richness of our heritage and traditional values. This unique foundation, a combination of the traditional past and contemporary future sets TKCC apart from its competitors. As they move forward in building a greater TKCC, our management operates with great respect for traditional ethics practices that have stood the test of time.

In 2000, TKC Communications started in Anchorage, AK with the service delivery vision of our 3 founders and our NANA investors. Today, our growing staff of over 300 employees has developed that vision into a reality.
